		<description>Only the other day that phrase came up. A close family member said something like &quot;That&#039;s the trouble with the do-gooders, they don&#039;t address the root cause...&quot;. I asked him what he meant by do-gooders and he said people that just hand out money and whatnot willy nilly.

I went on to talk about how my wife, back when she was working in a particular &#039;do-gooder&#039; job, attempted to address said root causes. They&#039;re much more complicated than most of us imagine, however - everyone has a different story to tell, and life to untangle.</description>

I think consumerism is actually anti-gospel on so many levels. 
This is a big part of our culture that the gospel challenges.
